High-output plant for manufacturing ceramic tiles in general, comprises a first part 30-31 of a ceramic mould which is fixed under the vertically moveable crossmember 3 of a ceramic press, a second part 140-143 of a ceramic mould which is fixed over the base 1 of the said ceramic press, and at least one secondary crossmember 4 which is mounted under the crossmember 3 of the press, and which can move up and down either autonomously or upon command, the said secondary crossmember 4 being provided with two mould parts 40-43; 130-131 that are situated respectively above and below it, and that are coupled to the said first 30-31 and second 140-143 mould parts. <IMAGE>
