Abstract

The invention refers to a method and a device to compensate for alignment disturbances which are caused in particular by differences in the propagation time of the data packets D+P1+P2 transmitted, especially in interrupted radio communication systems, which bring about a phase difference between the effective transmission clock for data packets D and the nominal transmission clock NCLK as reconstructed in the reception phase thanks to a preamble packet and which is utilised for the reading and/or regeneration of the data D. According to the invention, from the reconstructed nominal transmission clock NCLK is generated a plurality a plurality of copies CLK.1-CLK.n of same, each one having a slightly different phase. For the reading and/or regeneration of the data D, that clock copy CLK.n is used which has produced the best result in the recognition of a sequence of fine synchronisation bits (fine synchronisation word) P2, transmitted in the preamble packet P1+P2 and known 6 for the comparison with the receiving station. <IMAGE>
