Abstract

E' descritto un metodo per trattare i prodotti di combustione dell'incenerimento dei rifiuti solidi municipali MSW in cui i prodotti di combustione vengono fatti passare attraverso un contattore a filtro a letto fluido comprendente filtri a candela di ceramica. I prodotti della combustione vengono fatti reagire con assorbenti o nel contattore o nel canale attraverso cui vengono fatti reagire con reagenti in presenza di catalizzatori nel contattore per decomporre gli ossidi d'azoto in gas atmosferici. Il materiale particellare viene filtrato e depositato come cenere insieme con la cenere volatile, che viene anch'essa filtrata. Il monossido di carbonio viene ossidato dall'aria nel contattore in biossido di carbonio. I gas atmosferici vengono scaricati nell'atmosfera insieme con i prodotti filtrati di combustione.
