Abstract

L'invenzione concerne un freno a disco comprendente una staffa (12) solidale ad un primo pattino di freno (16), nella quale è praticata un'alesatura (22) in cui può scorrere a tenuta un pistone (20) solidale ad un secondo pattino di freno (18), una camera di pressione (24) essendo definita da detta alesatura (22) fra la staffa (28) ed il pistone (20) ed essendo suscettibile di ricevere un fluido sotto pressione per provocare l'applicazione di detti pattini di freno (16, 18) contro il disco (10) del freno. Secondo l'invenzione, il freno a disco comprende inoltre un mezzo (30, 32, 34) che permette di bloccare in posizione e di sbloccare detto pistone (20) rispetto alla staffa (12) quando i pattini sono applicati contro il disco del freno.
