Abstract

Secondo l'invenzione si realizza un testa levigatrice (1) per materiali lapidei adatta ad essere applicata su macchine levigatrici in continuo. Essa comprende una flangia fissa (2), rigidamente collegata ad un elemento di collegamento (3) alla macchina levigatrice, che supporta un mandrino rotante cilindrico (6) ad asse verticale (7) al quale è fissata una cassa rotante (12) provvista di una pluralità di manicotti tubolari (22) a superficie esterna abrasiva (23) disposti radialmente e supportati da altrettanti alberi (17). Detta cassa rotante e detti alberi sono posti in rotazione tramite un gruppo cinematico. Il fondo (51) di detta cassa rotante (12) e l'estremità inferiore (8) del mandrino verticale (6) cooperano tra loro tramite un giunto (52) a profilo sferico (53) che consente alla cassa stessa, durante la rotazione, piccole oscillazioni che sono assorbite da elementi elastici.
