Abstract
A mixed timber-concrete slab consisting as follows is presented and described: 1) beams in timber with variable width, height and distance apart depending on length and overload. 2) planking or panel placed on the extrados of the beams with variable thickness. 3) slab in concrete cast on site or prefabricated with variable thickness; this slab constitutes a monolithic section with the timber beams below, as the concrete fills appropriate cavities prepared on the extrados of the beam, impeding movement between the two parts. <IMAGE>
