Abstract

The device is applicable to machines provided with vertical fixed chassis (1), a tool carriage (2) for extendible plastic film winding that is supported by the chassis (1) and moving along the chassis itself, and a platform (3) supporting the load (4) that must be wrapped by rotating around a vertical axis, said platform being located near the chassis. The device consists of at least one horizontal jib(5) that must be fixed to the tool carriage (2) and regulated higher that the carriage itself. A second horizontal jib (6) is also envisaged, which is moved by the carriage (2) and which can move higher than the carriage and depending directly on its flight movement. Finally, the machine comprises elastic devices (7) that operate on the second jib (6), that is opposite with respect to the jib's movement and consequent to the flight movement of the carriage. Both the fixed (5) and the moving jib (6) come into continuous contact with at least the opposite longitudinal edges (9) of the film (8), so as to reduce or increase its height, depending on the movement of the moving jib (6) or to keep at a distance from the fixed jib (5).
