Abstract

For this grain oriented electrical steel sheet in which grooves extending in the direction intersecting with the conveyance direction are formed at a specified pitch (PL) in the conveyance direction by irradiation of a laser beam: the relationship between the standard deviation (D) of the distance from the linear least squares approximation line for the center line of the grooves in the groove width direction to each position on the center line and the pitch (PL) satisfies formula (1); and the mean angle formed between the tangent at each position on the center line and the direction orthogonal to the conveyance direction is greater than 0° and equal to or less than 30°. 0.02 ≤ (D/PL) ···(Ʊ)
