Abstract
1 3A method for producing 5 hydroxy 1H imidazole 4 carboxamide 3/4 hydrate which comprises: a step wherein 2 amino malonamide is reacted with a compound represented by general formula (1) (wherein each R independently represents a C alkyl group) in the presence of a carboxylic acid so as to obtain 5 hydroxy 1H imidazole 4 carboxamide; a step wherein the thus obtained 5 hydroxy 1H imidazole 4 carboxamide is reacted with an acidic compound so as to obtain an acidic salt of 5 hydroxy 1H imidazole 4 carboxamide or a hydrate thereof; and a step wherein the thus obtained acidic salt of 5 hydroxy 1H imidazole 4 carboxamide or a hydrate thereof is reacted with a salt in the presence of an acidic solvent.
