2. A collapsible bed as claimed in claim 1, wherein the support is constituted by a carriage comprising side vails and a bottom which is provided with castors for easy movement.

3. A collapsible bed as claimed in claim 1 or 2, wherein the bed and foot frame carry mattress frames*

4. A collapsible bed as claimed in claim 3, wherein each mattress frame is constituted of two sections, each carrying a section of the mattress and each being raisable relative the corresponding foot or head frame.

5. A collapsible bed as claimed in claim 4, wherein the mattress frame attached to the outer end of the foot frame is adapted to be detached therefrom.

6. A collapsible bed as claimed in any preceding claim, wherein the collapsible foot is adapted to constitute a shelf on the Cabinet when the bed is in the collapsed position.

7. A collapsible bed as claimed in any preceding claims, wherein a table top is pivotally mounted to the underside of the foot frame and is adapted to be supported by stays in a position for use as a table or desk when the bed is in the collapsed position.
