Abstract

A tube (B), for storage and distribution of a flavoured or scented product which contains water, comprising a distribution head (35) fixed to a flexible multilayer skirt, said skirt comprising an intermediate polymeric layer (20) with a barrier effect relative to oxygen and flavouring or scents, said layer being sensitive to moisture, and, on each face of said intermediate layer, one or more polymeric polyolefine-based layer(s), all said layers being continuously joined together, characterised in that said skirt comprises: an outer surface layer (10) of low density polyethylene, an inner surface layer (100) of low density polyethylene; at least one additional layer structure selected from the group consisting of a layer of high density polyethylene (14) disposed between said outer surface layer and a layer of low density polyethylene (12) disposed externally of said intermediate polymeric layer (20), and a layer of high density polyethylene (13) disposed between said inner surface layer and a layer of low density polyethylene (11) disposed internally of said intermediate polymeric layer, all the layers disposed internally of said intermediate polymeric layer having a total thickness between 55 and 140 micrometres to protect the flavouring or scent of the product within the tube.
