FOLDING TENT-HOUSE BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION.

This invention relates to the area of travelling and camp equipment and specifically to folding marquees. There are different designs of folding marquees and tents which can be used in a variety of climatic conditions for temporary living of soldiers in camps, tourists in campings,buildings workers and road-builders and so on.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION.

The proposed design of a folding tent-house comprises the metal folding framework presenting the complete folding modul which comprises four vertical posts "A" , sixteen horisontal half-beams "B" which are connected by hinges "C" and posts "D" . In the unfolded for use condition the half-beams are fixed in their horizontal positions by the special fixing elements "D" and "C" or by fixators which operate according to the principle of lockpin into a hole. A part from the design constituting a single module,it is possible to produce constructions assembledfrom 2,4,6 and 9 modules.

Depending on its functioning aim, the proposed folding tent-house is provided with a flexible envelope with a certain number of apertures for doors and windows of different sizes. In turn,depending on operation conditions and a climatic zone the envelopes may be fabricated from one or some layers of material with different strength and climatic resistance. Besides,it is possible to produce these envelopes of different colours and texture. Decorative trim,accessories,fixators of shutters,door-curtains and ventilation openings can be fabricated from different materials with variety of forms. An envelope may be designed with the closed space, with an attached floor or without it.

A flexible envelope with required openings for windows and a door-curtain is suspended inside the unfolded framework by the special loops and the adjusted locators.

The envelopes may be fabricated with n-fold length according to a number of modules which serve as the framework of a mounted tent-house. For constructions with a large volume which are multiple of 4,6 or 9 standard modules, the envelope can be produced

in the "covering" form, in this case, if it is required the envelope is connected with the floor outside of the framework. In order to decrease the bank of the framework posts ond half-beams in their folded condition,it is possible to devide the vertical posts into two sections,this allows to reduse by one half the general length of the bank of the folded framework for its transportation on a car roof or in the baggage compartment of a car. A framework can be fabricated from light aluminium alloys or from thin-walled steel profiles. C L A M S.

A folding tent-house consisting of : — a si stem of vertical posts and horisontal half-beams,said vertical posts and said hori-sontal half-beams are mutually connected by hinges with formation of a rigid parallelepiped, said hinges are rigidly fixed, when the framework formed by said vertikal posts and horisontal half beams is found in its assembled condition; — a flexible envelope or tent which is found inside said framework and is suspended from said framework by loops and adjusting locators.

2. A folding tent-house as claimed in Claim 1, wherein said flexible envelope covers said framework.
