Stepping motor comprising a multipolar rotor (1), a stator (601,602) combined with the rotor and means for generating, for each phase, a magnetomotive force. The invention comprises a single coil to generate the magnetomotive force, and means (603) configured for dividing this magnetomotive force which is applied to the poles of the rotor. [EP0038739A1]
