Abstract
A salt lick is disclosed comprising a compressed block of sodium chloride into which zinc oxide is incorporated to prevent symptoms of zinc deficiency in cattle, sheep and other animals using it. Sulphur and trace elements (copper, manganese and cobalt) may additionally be included in the compressed mixture.
