The compounds of the formulae Ia and Ib <IMAGE> in which the symbols have the meanings given in Claim 1 are suitable as starting materials for pharmaceutically active substances. They are obtained by reacting a compound of the formula II with a compound of the formula III as defined in Claim 1 or by oxidation of a compound of the formula Ib as defined in Claim 2 and obtained in this way.
