Abstract

Disposal and energetic utilization of solid material produced as by-product of fermentation involves drying and incinerating the solid material in a closed process. In the closed process, humidity content of the fermentation residue is set. The fermentation residue is chopped to a defined grain size either in the same phase or separately; and then loaded into a fluidization furnace and burned in at least one cycle or at appropriate combustion parameters, and heat is gained from the gaseous combustion product or optionally in the combustion chamber for energetic utilization.
