Azüzemanyagcella továbbá be van foglalva egy üzemanyagcella-rendszerbe,amelynek van egy üzemanyag-reformálója az üzemanyagcellába belépőüzemanyag-keverék áramlási terében, vagy olyan üzemmódban működik,hogy az üzemanyagcella egy külső reformálóból kap üzemanyagot.
