Vrećica za podvodni ribolov i postupak lovljenja ribe vrećicom rješavaju tehnički problem ulova neozlijeđene i žive ribe bez upotrebe standardne ribolovne opreme s mogućnošću izbora ribe koju ribolovac želi uloviti. Za uspješnu realizaciju izuma preporuča se izrada tijela vrećice od tanjih, fleksibilnih, ali u vodi postojanih materijala poput PE vrećice za zamrzavanje hrane. Poželjno je da vrećica bude prozirna zbog bolje funkcionalnosti i bio razgradiva zbog utjecaja na okoliš.
