H παρούσα εφεύρεσις αναφέρεται εις μέθοδο δια καταπολέμησιν (έλεγχον) εντόμων ή/και ακάρεων, η οποία διαλαμβάνει εξάτμισιν 3-(2,2-διχλωροαιθενυλο)-2, 2- διμεθυλοκυκλοπροπανοκαρβοξυλικού 1-αιθυνυλο-2-μεθυλο-2- πεντενυλίου έχοντας τον τύπο (ΧΗΜΙΚΟΣ ΤΥΠΟΣ) (Ι) άνευ θερμάνσεως τούτου.
