Abstract

Concerns the plant protection in greenhouses and it is intended to disinsect the air entering a close greenhouse equipped with motor driven ventilation system. With the device the entering air is led through a pipe system (3), so that the air stream, when exiting the pipe at a speed of at least 1 m/sec, can strike the water surface laterally, inside a container (8, 9), which due to inertia retains the insects. Next, this air stream, before entering the greenhouse, is whirled inside the container itself due to a cavity that is generated by the peripheral bending of the upper rim of the container inwards and downwards (Fig. 2:1). The surface of this cavity is covered by a special lining (Fig. 2:2) which, on its free surface has an adhesive coating Taglefoot type. Thus, with the said whirlpool of the air the retention of the insects, which may have escaped from the water during the first collision of the incoming air in it, is achieved, either with the adhesive, or through a second collision of the stream on the water surface.
