Abstract

The invention relates to a glass door’s aluminium frame where the aluminum profile (1) is specially designed to internally receive a Light-Emitting Diode strip (2) along its entire length. In the sequel, said LED strip is covered with a light-permeable plastic cover (3) made of polyvinyl chloride (PVC) or polycarbonate (PC) that refract the light, thus illuminating the perimeter of the glass door (4). The advantage of this invention is that it significantly improves the emergency exit illumination for easy detection of this last in low-visibility conditions.
