Abstract

Novelty: a multi-brush arm for the cleaning of photovoltaic panels is disclosed. Constitution: the variable-length arm (1, 8) and more than one cleaning members 2 having each a brush 5. Said cleaning members are adjacent to the arm, in respect to the contact angle 4. Cleaning of plural photovoltaic panels (fig.1) or thorough cleaning of one single photovoltaic panel (fig.2) or simultaneous thorough cleaning of plural photovoltaic panels (fig.5) can be achieved in dependence on the number of the brush-equipped cleaning members selected, the adjustment of the distance between the cleaning members <7>, the length of these last <3> and the contact angle of the brush 6 with the surface under cleaning. In all cases, the cleaning time is reduced, the cleaning process is carried out with little efforts, and the efficiency and depth of the cleaning are enhanced with one single movement of the mechanically- or manually-operated cleaning arm. Static or mechanically-rotating brushes are also at option.
