Abstract
The invention relates to an integrated method evaluating vegetable waters issued from olive-oil production and constituting an innovative and economical combination of known production activities, more precisely: refining of the initial material via a centrifugal refining device or adequate vibrating microfiltration filter with use of ceramic membranes; mixing of the microfiltrated product with maltodextrin or protein via a mechanical mixer; homogenization with high pressure or super-sounds for the creation of nanoparticles; production of dry powder by spray drying technology. Two distinguishable bio-drastic products of distinguishable technological utilisation in the animal farming domain are derived: a) protein powder enriched with nano-encapsulated olive polyphenol for use as a raw material for fodder production and b) water soluble maltodextrin powder enriched with non-encapsulated olive polyphenol for use as additive in animal drinking water for boosting their health.
