Abstract
Η παρούσα εφεύρεση αφορά μια μέθοδο απομάκρυνσης ανόργανων συστατικών, ως καλίου, νατρίου, χλωρίου, θείου, φωσφόρου και βαρέων μετάλλων, από βιομάζα αγροτικής, ή δασικής ή αστικής προέλευσης ή και μείγμα από βιομάζες διαφορετικής προέλευσης, από γαιάνθρακες χαμηλής ποιότητας όπως τύρφη, λιγνίτες ή υποπισσούχους ή και πισσούχους γαιάνθρακες, από απορρίμματα και απόβλητα αστικής ή και, βιομηχανικής προέλευσης, τα οποία είναι δυνατό να περιλαμβάνουν τόσο οργανικό - μεγαλύτερο 5 τοις εκατό κατά βάρος - όσο και ανόργανο - μικρότερο 95 τοις εκατό κατά βάρος - φορτίο και από λάσπες βιολογικών καθαρισμών. Ο επιδιωκόμενος σκοπός επιτυγχάνεται με τη φυσικοχημική κατεργασία του προκατεργαζόμενου υλικού. Η μέθοδος μπορεί να περιλαμβάνει επίσης τη θερμική κατεργασία η οποία μπορεί να προηγείται ή να έπεται της φυσικοχημικής. Η εφαρμογή της θερμικής κατεργασίας εξαρτάται από την φύση και τα ιδιαίτερα χαρακτηριστικά του κάθε προκατεργαζόμενου υλικού και την οικονομική ανάλυση της συνολικής διεργασίας για να προσδιοριστεί το σημείο αριστοποίησης σε κάθε περίπτωση.
