Abstract

Method and mechanism of central collection, management and communication of information of parking places that consists of conveying information through mobile devices [Figure 2 - (7)] by drivers who are about to leave parking places and by drivers who are interested in occupying new parking places to a server for the fixing of parking places [Figure 2 - (10)], that subsequently, in case of correlating the relevant data through the above mobile devices, dispatches information on both elements and cooperation directions for leaving/occupying the parking place. The advantages of this invention consist of the fact that it achieves the accumulation of information concerning the searching of parking places and leaving from parking places through simple mobile devices, the centralized processing thereof and the update of the drivers by directions for occupying/leaving parking places through the same devices. Apart from its self-evident use by the drivers for finding parking places, the invention can be used by central entities for the management of parking places, for the study of transport issues and for the solving of relevant problems, as well as for handling emergency incidents, through the relevant update of the drivers.
