Abstract

A double-coating technique in dentistry and its application in prosthodontics on implants (6), (7), (11), which allows the application of an adaptive technique and a technique of double coating in operations on dental implants with excellent results as regards strength, function and aesthetics of the prosthesis operations on the implants, achieving a proper long-term operation and stability. The excellent aesthetic results, approaching to a great extend the natural appearance of the tooth is one of the advantages of the present technique. The ductility of the structure of the porcelain, as a result of its construction and firing, provides excellent strength to shearing and tension forces, resulting to less loading on the base of the prosthesis, i.e. in practice on the implants. The above mentioned coating technique is applied on an individual implant, on multiple implants for manufacturing bridges, on multiple implants for manufacturing snapped operations as a technique of coating the fixed part of their combination and as a technique of coating the secondary frame surfaces which are used for the implant telescopization technique (11), (18) and (24) (implant-natural tooth combination method).
