Abstract
Novelty: System for vertical trash compaction into common-use trash containers immersed into the ground. Constitution: 1) the trash dumping head (1) composed of the cone (4) comprising four hydraulic pressure cylinders (5) fixed on the central cap (6) of the construction and four guides (7) offering full balance to the system; 2) the trash-pressing complex (2) for controlled immersion and trash compaction,which trash-pressing complex consists of a parallelogram -like carrier (8) operating with four hydraulic cylinders encountered inside the compaction carrier and opening the two horizontal sealing blades (10) of the trash dumping and compaction head ; 3) the complex (3) situated exactly beneath the trash container (14) for retaining the load of the trash container and counterbalancing the pressure load ofthe press (3); said complex consists of one base (11), two telescopic guides (12) and two hydraulic cylinders (13) set inside the guides (12), which cylinders are meant to hoist and keep the trash container (14) stable throughout compaction and release this last, automatically, after its emptying in the waste truck. Advantages: Reduction of trash volume due to the compaction system (four times more trash contained in a trash dumping container); use of existing trash containers; reduction of the trash collection time and, thereby, reduction of the labour cost.
