Abstract

Η διάταξη αυτή παραγωγής ενέργειας περιλαμβάνει έναν αεροσυμπιεστή, ένα βαρούλκο, ένα υδραυλικό σύστημα ελαίου και μια ηλεκτρογεννήτρια. Ανάλογες διατάξεις είναι οι τουρμπίνες των υδροηλεκτρικών έργων και οι ανεμογεννήτριες. Στα υδροηλεκτρικά απαιτείται η υδατόπτωση μεγάλων όγκων νερού και στις ανεμογεννήτριες η σταθερή και συνεχής ροή αέρα για να επιτυγχάνεται σταθερή απόδοση. Πλεονέκτημα αυτής της διάταξης είναι ότι δεν χρειάζεται μεγάλους όγκους νερού (αρκεί η ροή του) και εγκατάσταση φράγματος όπως για την περίπτωση υδροηλεκτρικού έργου, ούτε η συνεχής και σταθερή ροή αέρα για την περίπτωση ανεμογεννητριών, αφού αυτός αποθηκεύεται υπό πίεση και χρησιμοποιείται στην συνέχεια κατά το δοκούν.
