Abstract

he disclosed herein four-direction concrete iron rod-bending mechanism has the ability of cutting the front and rear extremity of same rod and is composed of a rotating plate 1 bearing four openings for the ingress of four bend pins 5 which are inserted, by twos, into the two half rings 3 adapted, externally, on the plate 1. The base 2 of the knives 20 is adapted inside the rotating plate 1 while inside said base there is adapted the shaft 4 with the configuration jaws 6 and the openings serving as steady points for the cutting and retaining of the iron rods. The base of the knives 2 and the shaft 4 are displaced, with respect to the performing operation, by an up and down sliding motion. Said mechanism is positioned into a metal shell 16while seating elements are adapted to the two sides for facilitating the oscillatory motion of the mechanism. The mechanism in question can be placed on concrete iron rod-aligning, -bending, and -cutting machines and it can configurate rods into various shapes.
