t is disclosed herein a remotely controlled electromechanical mechanism designed for the lifting and lowering of a craft's boarding ladder or gangway. It is composed of a dc electro-reducer having an incorporated reel winding the wire rope destined to displace, via a pulley or pulleys, said gangway. Compared to the existing hydraulic systems, the invention is a simple, low-cost construction.
