Abstract

Ο κυτταροσυλλέκτης τραχήλου της μήτρας με αποσπώμενη κεφαλή και κεντρικό ιστό με ελικοφόρο άξονα αποτελεί εργαλείο συλλογής κυττάρων αποτελούμενο από μία λαβίδα και μια κεφαλή, με ή χωρίς επιμήκεις ίνες στην κεφαλή κατά προτίμηση του ειδικού, το οποίο με απλές κινήσεις έχει τη δυνατότητα να αποσπά δείγμα κυττάρων από το στόμιο, εξωτερικά και εσωτερικά τοιχώματα του τραχήλου της μήτρας, το οποίο και συγκρατείται στην κεφαλή του εργαλείου, η οποία στη συνέχεια, μετά τη συλλογή του δείγματος μπορεί να αποσπασθεί και με μια απλή κίνηση να τοποθετηθεί σε ειδικά για τη μεταφορά, τη συντήρηση και τον εργαστηριακό έλεγχο φιαλίδια.ΰ
