999,076. Vaccination appliances. COOPER, McDOUGALL & ROBERTSON (N.Z.) Ltd. March 29, 1963 [March 29, 1962], No. 12642/63. Heading A5R. A vaccine applicator comprises a vaccine container 1 closed by an apertured stopper 3, a projection 6b for breaking the skin and applying vaccine extending from the container interior solely through the stopper. The projection comprises two sharp ends 6b of a wire loop 6 located in the container so that the closed end and the loop contacts the bottom of the container, which is transparent. The stopper, which is made of synthetic resin, is removable from the container for filling. A cap 7 fits over the stopper and the projecting ends of the wire.
