998,339. Desks combined with drawing boards. DARGUE BROS. Ltd. April 10, 1964 [April 10, 1963; April 24, 1963], Nos. 14266/63 and 16090/63. Heading A4H. A desk comprising a wooden frame with side walls 10 and a rear wall 12 supported on legs 14 has a rectangular draw-out frame 22 with grooves co-operating with guide pieces 23 on sides 10 and a drawing board 24 pivoted at 26 to the frame 22 so that it may be raised and supported by stays 28 when the desk top 20 has been folded back and the frame 22 pulled outwardly. The board has a parallel straight-edge 36 balanced by a weight 38 on a wire and pulley arrangement and a protractor head 37. Specifications 950,733 and 998,338 are referred to.
