A motor vehicle has a concave roof 2 attached by bolts or by posts which carry a rail 3, to a flange 5 of the closed superstructure 1 of the vehicle. The rail 3 serves as a suspension means for the hooks 4 of a crane to lift the vehicle or the roof.
