A deburring tool has four cutting edges 13, and a series of steps, 12, Figs. 1, 2. In a modification, three cutting edges 17 are provided, Fig. 3, and the pilot 21 has cutting edges. The tool may have a shank, or it may have a recess, for connecting to a chuck or mandrel.
