994,827. Clips. H. TEVES, E. A. TEVES, and M. TAUSEND, [trading as ALFRED TEVES MACHINEN-UND ARMATURENFABRIK KOMM.-GES.]. Feb. 20, 1962, No. 6531/62. Heading E2B. [Also in Division F2] In a spot-type disc brake, (Division F2), spring clips 14-17 are provided to hold the caliper housing 3 in the brake support 2. In the embodiment shown in Fig. 2 the spring clips act as return springs and are secured to the brake applying pistons 23, 24 and engage in recess 6-9 in the side walls of the brake support 2. The caliper may be removed from the brake support 2 in a radial direction when the springs have been disengaged from the recesses 6-9.
