[Also in Division F1] In an inhaler using a pressurized aerosol container, the container is located in a tubular housing and the spacing between the walls of the two provides a passageway for the admission of external air. In the arrangement described, the medicament container 14 is of the type having a metering valve which is opened by axial movement of the valve stem 16. This container is supported in a tubular housing 12 having four equally-spaced ribs 23 which locate the container and provide an annular passageway through which air may be drawn in towards the delivery tube 13, which the user places in his mouth. The stem 16 of the valve is engaged in a pillar-member 18 having an internal duct leading to a discharge orifice 20 so that the spring is directed outwardly through the delivery tube 13.
