993,275. Moulding sliders for slide fasteners. R. V. SIMBERG. June 12, 1962, No. 22448/62. Heading B5A. A slider for slide fasteners is cast with the slide tag or pull integral with the body of the slider. The slider, Fig. 1, consists of a top wall 3, a bottom wall 4, a wedge 5 joining the two walls, a U-shaped lug 6 integral with the top wall 3 and a tag or pull 2 mounted with the ring 9 circumscribing the lug 6 and joined to the lug at 11. The slider is formed in the mould designated as 12, Fig. 2, which contains the die pieces 13, 14, 15, 15<SP>1</SP> which form the holes 8, 10 in the pull 2 and the gap between the walls 3, 4 of the slider. Several sliders can be made in one casting operation. If required the connection 11 between the pull 2 and the lug 6 can be broken.
