Abstract

A solvent composition which is particularly suitable for vapour phase degreasing or for stripping resinous soldering fluxes comprises (a) 1,1,2 - trichloro - 1,2,2 - trifluoroethane and (b) trans-1,2-dichloroethylene. The preferred compositions contain (a) in an amount of more than 25% by weight of the composition, and an especially suitable composition consists of the azeotropic composition boiling at 44.5 DEG C. in which (a) forms about 60% and (b) about 40% by weight.
