Continuous superposed webs of stationery, pre-printed with forms and transversely perforated between successive forms, are fed through burster rollers 10 to 13. Rollers 11 and 13, Fig. 1, may be driven twice as fast as rollers 10 and 12. Rollers 12 and 13 may have marginal pin wheels engaging edge perforations in the webs, and severing apparatus may be provided:for removing the marginal portions. Each set: of sheets may take either of two paths to the stacking tray 30 according to the position of a switch 31. When the switch 31 is in the position shown in full lines, each set of sheets is fed to a pair of crimping rollers 18, 19 via guide and support plate 23. The lower roller 19 is chain driven by the same source which drives burster roller 10, and may be rotated at a super speed 1.2 greater than roller 10. The top roller 18 is resiliently mounted on a base 22 with rods 24 and rubber washers 26, Fig. 5. The crimping rollers 18, 19 may be moved towards and away from the burster rollers to accommodate different sheet sizes. In a modification, a pair of endless tapes or conveyers may be provided for transferring the sheet from the burster rollers to the crimping rollers, Fig. 4 (not shown). When the switch 31 is in the 'position shown in broken lines, Fig. 1, the sheets by-pass the crimping rollers and are directed down a guide 34 to the stacking tray 30.
