Abstract

[Also in Divisions B3 and El] Metal posts for fencing are of generally triangular cross-section being bent from a U-sectioned member closed at its edges by a strip 2. The posts are tapered vertically and may be closed at one end with a polythene cap 3. A straining box, Fig. 8, for fence wires is also described. As shown, the box comprises a notch 19 to accommodate a fence post and bolts 22 to anchor the tensioned wires.
