A drawer 1 is supported and guided by sheet metal channel shaped runners 2, 3 carried on vertical rails 7a, 7b by means of tongues 5, 6 which engage tongues 8, 9 on the rails so that the distance between drawers can be selected, and the runners 2, 3 have near the front of the casing rollers 12 engaged by the drawer bottom 14, and the rear wall 17 of the drawer has portions 23 carrying rollers which engage the runners to prevent tipping of the drawer when opened beyond its centre of gravity.
