973,472. Suction cleaner filter bags. ASSOCIATED ELECTRICAL INDUSTRIES Ltd. Dec. 23, 1960 [July 6, 1960], No. 23648/60. Heading A4F. [Also in Division B1] The motor driven suction fan of a handlepropelled suction cleaner exhausts dustladen air through an upwardly directed flexible impermiable duct 1 of elongated cross-section and through a downturned nozzle 5 having its upper end 6 secured to a flanged aperture 4 in one side of the duct 1 near the upper sealed end 2 thereof and having detachably connected at its lower end 7 a paper filter bag 11; the assembly being surrounded by a conventional appearance bag suspended from the cleaner handle. The tube 1 and nozzle 5 are constructed of thermoplastic material.
