A liquid carrying bottle 1 is transported with a liquid sample container 10. As shown applied to a pneumatic tube conveyer system the bottle 1 is held between a cap 4 and a base plate 2 formed from an elastic material, by means of an elastic strap 3. The base plate has a drill hole 7 perpendicular to the axis of the base plate, to accommodate the tubular sampling container 10. The strap 3 is secured in grooves in the cap 4 and the base plate 2 and is formed with a supporting loop 6. A further elastic strap 5 encircles the bottle and is secured to the strap 3. A hole is provided in the base of the drill hole 7 from ventilation and to facilitate removal of the container 10.
