[Also in Divisions B1 and B2] In a mixing or pulverising machine as disclosed in Specification 890,403, there is provided on the side of the chamber wall 22 one or more fixed deflectors 20 projecting inwardly from the wall 22 and sloping downwardly and forwardly in the direction of rotation of the rotor 10, the angle of slope of each deflector preferably being between 20 degrees and 40 degrees to the vertical.
