The front access door 5 of an omnibus is situated opposite the driver 7, and the access floor 6, which may be stepped as shown, is at a lower level than the floor 2 between the seats so that the driver has a clear view over the heads of standing passengers. The driver's seat may be lowered and rotated to face the door for fare-collecting purposes.
