Abstract
959,070. Pulse generating circuits. PAKA CORPORATION. May 30, 1962, No. 20884/62. Heading H3P. [Also in Divisions G1 and G2] A pulse generator having a frequency dependent upon the current through a photocell comprises two triodes 54, 64. Triode 64 is normally conductive and the D.C. potentials in the circuit are such that a negative bias is applied to the grid 58 of triode 54. The current through the photo-cell 42 charges a condenser 52 until the triode 54 conducts, thus applying a negative pulse to a counter 80 and to the grid 68 to cut-off triode 68. The potential on anode 66 and grid 58 rises to increase conduction in the triode 54 which continues until the condenser voltage falls to a predetermined level at which the circuit switches back to its original condition and photo-cell 42 commences to recharge condenser 52.
