[Also in Division F4] A refrigerator door comprises a vacuumformed polystyrene sheet 40 covered with a layer 66 of foamed polyurethane, a layer of glass or mineral wool 68 and an outer metal panel 70 which is secured to the sheet 40 at its edges. The layer 66 is formed by spraying a mixture of air alkyd resin and an isocyanate on to the sheet and allowing the mixture to foam while the sheet is vacuum-drawn. Details of the composition of the alkyd resin and isocyanate are given.
