Abstract

955,879. Jetting apparatus. PROPRIETORS OF HAY'S WHARF Ltd. Aug. 2, 1962 [Sept. 1, 1961], No. 31534/61. Heading E1F. A jetting head 2 is secured to the lower end of a rigid vertical tubular member 3 so supported on a vehicle, such as the hull of a ship, that the member may be both rotated about and moved along the vertical axis by winch-controlled cable and pulley systems. A mixture of air and water under pressure emerges as a jet from the or each jetting nozzle of the head, which can be adjusted relative to the member about an axis at right angles to the longitudinal axis of the member.
