955,661. Measuring electrically. GENEVAC Ltd. Aug.16, 1960 [Aug. 19, 1959], No.28281/59. Heading G1N. In a Pirani pressure gauge the gauge wire 30 and its supporting stem 26 forms a replaceable unit which is attached to the base 14 by plugging the stem 26 and gauge wire connectors 20 and 21 into holes in the base into which they are locked by set screws 27, 22 and 23. The base is attached to the metal casing 10 by locking ring 13 and sealed by sealing ring 15. Connection is made to the gauge wire via plugs 16 and 17 which engage with a socket, not shown, connected to the external circuit.
